I like Scotland for many reasons, one of which is biking.
Did a 3 day trip up in late April, and was hit with all weathers, incl this at Applecross on the way down (Pic 1).
Undeterred, went up again for a couple of days at end of May, thinking this will be the best weather, and got hit with this heading towards Tomintoul yesterday (Pic 2)
and then Pic 3 (yesterday, 23rd May!), trying to go over Lecht. Managed to get approx 200 yards further on, but got stuck on the 20% climb bit. Stuck brakes on and just slid backwards
Not what you want on a tourer!
Great fun to watch the cars get stuck, and the 4x4s squirming about before they finally made the crest
These Michelin PR3's are not all they are cracked up to be
TKC's for an RT anyone??
