One of the (few) advantages of shift work is that your day off during the week can coincide with good weather. Today was one of them 20c+ and clear, blue skies.

I did a lap from Kilmacanogue - Laragh - Avoca - Arklow - Wicklow and home:

Kilmacanogue to Laragh is a nice road but a little busy. I stopped in Laragh for a ham & cheese sandwich and coke: €5:70 ! There was a cross section of bikers at the coffee shop, 3 harley riders kitted out in the full Harley catalogue, 2 sports bike riders in leathers and knee sliders and a couple on a GS in goretex. All bikers but such different approaches to the hobby :)

On to Rathdrum, a great road, tree lined and it has dips and humps that would challenge a motocross rider. I wobbled over them and stopped at the Meeting of the Waters:

Old Skool bar and shop beside a modern pub / restaurant:

Avoca next, very picturesque:

A sign on a shop challenged my "cupla focal" :)

Avoca to Arklow is a great road, wide and open corners, I took the sea road from Arklow to Wicklow:

A cracking day:

I stopped for an ice cream near Brittas Bay:

Traffic was heavy in Wicklow town and I was overheating so I took the motorway back. Total distance was 120k, according to the gps, and a great way to spend a day off :thumb
