Gents,
sadly we (the RNMCC South) are escorting a close friend and riding buddy to his final resting place next Thursday afternoon, riding as a large group in procession behind the funeral party from HMS Sultan in Gosport to Portchester crematorium via the A32 Gosport Road. It is anticipated that many motorcyclists will be in attendance.
We do not plan to stop for any other motorists at any point on the route (emergency vehicles excepted), and should have a Police escort and possibly also some media attention.
Apologies if you have anything important to do between 2pm and 3:30pm in the Gosport/Fareham/Portchester areas. If you really need to be somewhere in this area please plan to arrive early or risk being caught up in the traffic.
