I have them on my GSA TC having had PR4's before - I thought the PR4's were great but the Avons have raised the bar even higher.

I'm about 4000 miles in, use them every day on all kinds of roads/conditions and cannot fault them. They are even 10% suitable for offroad and and having done a few green lanes and ridden down many muck strewn roads that 10% seems very capable.

I'm suprised there are few raving about them...

As I said I'm 4000 miles in, loads of wear left and they still give great confidence inspiring handling

After the thread you started, regarding the Avon Trailriders. I bought a set and had them fitted at the weekend :thumb2

Too early to appraise them yet, but they do feel better than the tourance next I had on before.

I have a pair fitted to my Yamaha XTz1200 Super Tenere. Only done about 600 miles on them so far and that was mainly with the wife on the back. They seem fine, nothing negative to report, but early days yet.

Cheers mate :) hoping to get some fitted this week so will see how they are week off to do some riding

ive tried most of the tyres mentioned, and I've looked at the Avons I think I shall be giving them a go this time round too.
I quite like the Anakee for the grip and longevity but they do howl.

Look forwards to hearing more about the Avons as I've only just put a new set of Anakees on so have a while yet.

I've just replaced the rear at 4,500 miles as it got a nasty big hole on the motorway the other day...

the tyre was still performing brilliantly, it was a no brainer to fit another.
