I just attended a meeting of my local TRF group, Axe Vale, chaired by David a very nice chap. :beerjug:

The group is sadly quiet. Any TRF members in the North Somerset area? Or is everyone going over to Bristol?

It's a shame there is little to ride exactly here but we are in striking distance of great trails elsewhere and we do have a good network here.

Maybe just no one from down my way? :nenau

Rich I havent been out and about round bristol for a while but will be starting again during May. The lanes I usually do start at Keynsham and take me round to south of Bath. Other times we hit the Fossway depending on the routes. Where in Bristol are you?

I'm over in Portishead, hence the sadness about Axe Vale being so quiet as they meet a mile away from me. Having now got a trailie as well as the GS which was taking a beating (and me with it) I am keen to go more local rather than heading off to Wales all the time. Here there is very little, really next to nothing.

I was a bit loathe just to head for Bristol TRF when Axe Vale was so close, but I know there are better lanes over the BANES end of our areas.
I have been down from Stow to near the M4 Bath junction on lanes with Clive on the GS, lovely run.

Would be very keen to come over Keynsham way and ride those lanes with you, they look good on the map. I was meant to have hooked up with Boboneleg who I think rides over there but it hasnt been to be so far.

May sounds good to me, I am a little busy at the moment but by then will be freed up. I wil PM you my contact details.

I think I saw your name on the Red Kite list, yes?
