Anywhere but here!
Called in to Azcari Adventure Center, Dorking today. Spoke to some guy there and asked where all the bikes and Touratech stuff was.

Him - "Eh, (spoken in some foreign accent) can you repee dat plea"

Me - "Where-is-the-tour-a-tech-stuff-and-the-bikes" says I.

Him - "They not here, shop isa sold"

Me - "Where-is-it-now?"

Him - :nenau

Website is down, all you get is "Our shop is currently unavailable, please check back soon."

Anyone know what's going on?

it's still there, well it was but they seemed to be rebuilding the shop or something. I spoke to the same bloke when I was asked to collect something from them for the ATFF...

Last week? or the week before...:blast

recently... in August....!

Yes I know it's still there and all the signs are still up out the front, but no bikes, nothing in the workshop, no staff and only this johny foreigner in the shop who told me it's sold. :blast

No sign of any rebuilding going on either! :nenau

the place as full of bikes round the back....:blast

all the ramps and workshops stuff was still in place...:augie

I'll do what I do best in these instances... pop into Vines for a coffee they'll know....:thumb2

Keep us posted, I know Craig quite well

I've bumped into (probably) the same foreign guy when I've visited before, and it's difficult to get any sense out of him, so it's likely that the business is undergoing a makeover. Be a shame if it is caput though, Craig's a really nice and helpful guy.

I was there yesterday and the bloke I'd seen before (I think he's deaf when I spoke LOUDER and ssllooooowwweeerrr! he seemed to understand me just fine) he looked to be doing shopfitting (putting up NOT taking down):thumb2

while his two chums seemed to be having a break or acting as interior design consultant and H+S supervisor/ union rep.... you know how it is.... with these work to rule types it's all ke, no spick di lingo matey peeps! 12 sugars thanks... Lurvley cuppa missus!

the bikes and ramps are still all there.... as was the thing I was asked to drop back to them. I'm guessing it's a refit of some sort... cos August is quiet everyone's on holiday. It would be a good time to be doing that... I guess...

but what do I know....:D

matey spoke like this....hehehehe

Good practice for communicating with us Geordies in a couple of weeks time. :D

Called in today and they have closed down.

As said before, City Motorcycle have just taken over the lease on the shop and have no connections in any way.

They are having an open day 15/09/2012 but seem to be trying for the small bike / learner market and MOT's.

On the open day they do have tyre deals that sound worth having:

Any pair of Pilot Road - £150.00, Pilot Power - £160.00, Anakee 2 - £160.00

Fitted and balanced but PLUS VAT
