Well I sold my K1200GT-SE to that nice chappie from Galway in January and have tried a few bikes since then.
The Tiger, which was great to ride apart from the front end diving, but just looked like a Jap bike to me. No offence to Tiger riders!
I tried out the H/D Fat Bob, which looked great but I personally felt a disappointment to ride.
I looked at the Tre-K and then yesterday tested a K1200R, which I thought was an amazing bike - for fine weather riding and a very quick way to lose my licence.
Anyway, after a few sleepless nights, I decided to get back on a GS as I'd had one a couple of years ago.
Anyway, after getting prices etc from the dealers, it would seem that I've found an '08 one on this very forum and so, assuming all goes well, I'm back on a brilliant bike.
I'm really pleased because, when I watched my last one disappear off the drive, I was already regretting the decision to sell it.
