Perhaps I should point out that although that water ford ;looks so shallow like an ant could walk thru it with his head above the water it is so slippy that we could barely stand up in it.

In fact 2 minutes after those shots were taken ( 5 mins after we picked Terry, Alison and their bike up and out of the water) a Land Rover driving farmer came along and said " you dont want to try riding thru, there you'll end up on your arse so you will " and then promptly drove thru almost sideways in his Landy as it slid downstream on the algae covered bottom.

Looks like it. I've tried it, it's not that slippery if you're only walking and don't try to lift a bike up, DAMHIK

Thats the one very slippery Terrys bike made it across on the first attempt after it had spat him and alison off and left them lying on there arses in the water Luckily no one was hurt apart from Terrys pride
