Quite a nice ‘alternative’ Black Forest(ish) / Switzerland suggestion from the latest edition of Motorrad & Reisen magazine 116.

It is suggested to be ridden over three days, starting pretty near Baden Baden, with stop one in or near Lindau and and stop two, in or near St Blasien.

I see the route takes you past the large waterfalls at Schaffhusen, which are probably worth a visit (and a boat ride) if you’ve not seen them.

That's a great route and the roads are made for bikes! St Blaisen is definitely worth a stop. The cathedral is quite something, especially inside.. I'd also recommend a stop in Todtmoos. Specifically the Klimperkasten bar at the bottom of kirchbergstaße. A bikers bar and the owner Henry is a proper good laugh!

Good shout on the above waterfall stop.

Also this route takes you right past mount Säntis, which is on route (see purple arrow bellow).

I have visited the place back in September of 2019. However, I was less than 10 minutes to late to take the last cable car up to the top. Sunset views, would've been epic.
