Hi all. 3 weeks ago I bought off an online auction site a second hand Baglux tank cover and tank bag for R1150GS. I bought it knowing it had broken catches so I found the Baglux France website and sent off a query about parts but have still had no reply. Last week I did a bit more searching and found the UK distributor for Baglux and popped them off an email querying the damaged parts to which I got a prompt reply telling me they had the parts and price. I immediately confirmed my order and today they arrived.
I reccommend Baglux Uk http://www.baglux.co.uk:80/ and offer a raspberry to the manufacturer in France who are not interested in dealing with customers for parts.
Mind you it could be that as I am in New Zealand they have not forgotten the Rainbow Warrior!

Hole heartedly agree, never tried to contact the French parent company, but I've nothing but praise for the English distributors, I had purchased a Baglux tank cover for my 1100gs, it saw 60,000+ miles of action, one of the Bag retaining clips broke, and after contacting them, they sent me a replacement, Free, no charge even for postage, great service, great gear too, highly recommend them, regards to all Dusan

hi to windy wellington!

while i also found the uk baglux team very helpful and effecient i have found the actual product totally useless. it looks crap and i cant get them to fit tightly enough without covering half of the bmw emblem. i had one on a fireblade and thought the bad fit was a one off but i was proven wrong with my GS, hence my sig

Are you sure you've got the right cover, and your not trying to fit a GSA cover on a GS tank

FBF I am sorry to here about your bad results with Baglux.
And believe it or not but Wellington is not windy at present, we have been having amazing weather of late. New South Wales is having Wellington weather at present.
