Hi everyone
picked up my new Ocean Blue 1200GS late Friday after spending nearly 4 years with a VFR800 and from the 300 plus miles done in the last 24 hours think its going to be so much more fun than the Honda. I used to have a tank cover on the vfr and was thinking of ordering one for the GS but haven't seen a blue/grey one in the flesh and was wondering what the colour match was like. Any feedback would be much appreciated before I spend even more money

works well with my yellow 1200 and the fit of the cover is deffo better than it was on my honda.

....just ordered one from bagster on Thursday - they had them in stock for immediate delivery. I'm hopefully getting mine + city bag on Tuesday.

When I phoned Baglux, they recommended the Roppingi bag. Harness and bag arrived three days later.

I looked at the baglux at the NEC last year, they had a 1200gs on the display stand. The thing that got me was that the bag seems to be located quite a distance back on the tank, not a great problem, but trying to map read would be tricky. I pointed this out to the french chap from Baglux and he acknowledged this and said something along the line of not having a bike to try the design out on. Having said that the fit of the tank cover is spot on.

Has anyone with the system had trouble map reading?

....never successfully map read from a tankbag on any bike I've ever had, the 12GS is no different. Best advice is to stop and read the thing - then it doesn't matter where it is.

I just bought the bagster City bag and I love it. Small, not in the way, just perfect for packing a few things.
