I've had the good fortune to purchase a 2nd hand Bagster tank cover an Athena bag from Beemer Bob. Arrived this morning.....

All is perfect apart from me being a total numpty and being unsure which strap goes where.........

are there any Bagster owners out there who can help?

Steve

I've now managed to fit most of the cover. However I'm unsure quite where to route the strap at the rear of the tank that appears to go under the seat and the two long straps and clasps at the top of the forks are hanging lose. Where do they go around the front suspension.....................

Ignore my previous request. It really is quite simple.....well it was when I got my 3-month old daughter to have a look at it for me!!

tank cover

Is there any chance you could forward me some pics or describe where the straps at the front go as im having a nightmare with my dads bag.

Thanks Malc email [email protected]

Anyone know how much a bag for these costs, should be getting a 1150GS with the cover but no bag.

Well done that man for effort.

Hope you enjoy the bag :thumb

bagster cover

well thanks for all the advice its been very helpfull

Oh yes first time since posting that ive looked at this thread as I have a lot of better things to do with my time other than sat at my computer taking the sap out of people about nothing.
cheers Malc
so if you have nothing of interest to say on the subject matter dont even bother

fit the thing from the front, dont put the rear srtrap on til the end. Once its connected around the headstock pull out the side straps. Get the cover to cover the lobes of the tank and the window over the roundel. Its fiddly but doabble. then do the rear strap.

I did have a jpeg of the instructions that someone sent me but I think I deleted it - But I am sure that if you ask Vinny (I think his name is) at baglux he´ll send you some instructions (not very very helpful, but better than bugger all).
