I had to go to Alton recently and thought I would call in at Bahnstormers on the way back home. I went in, both salesmen busy on the phone, but one of them waved me through to the kitchen area and told me to make myself a drink and make myself comfortable.
Read several bike mags and drank their coffee, while also keeping an eye on their workshop through the new glass window they have installed. Looks good.
Anyway, had a look round their bikes - rather a nice 1150ADV for sale - talked to one of the sales guys about it - his name is Paul Davies. Memory cells ticked back - 24 years ago I bought a new BMW R80ST from a Paul Davies at BMW Park Lane - my first boxer twin - so asked the question - stone me - it's the same bloke! So we had a good catch up and I went on my way.
The part exchange price didn't set the world on fire, so I left it, but while all this crap is going on with Cannons, I thought I would point out a dealer where I was made to feel welcome, was under no obligation, was able to help myself to their free coffee, and chilled for a half hour before riding home.

It's amazing how the little things can make us feel good!
