Guys

I have been suckered into guiding at Bakermans bash Salisbury way on the 30th Dec.

IF THERE IS DEMAND I'll take the GSA rather than my preferred puddle jumper, so add your name to the list if interested.

If you put your name down, and dont turn up on the day I expect you to still donate to Bakermans charity - fair enough?

Experienced off roaders only, it'll be a brisk but TRF friendly pace when conditions allow, minimum of TKCs, and patience asked for in advance re my Nav skills!

Really need to see 6 names down to make it work, but sensibly a max of 8 to 10. More the merrier really I guess to lift the f***ers out of ruts.

Anyhow here goes, add you names and lets see what happens.

i would like to try the husky but see what happens ........

OK looks like I will be on the 690, rather than GSA - so all are welcome to join.

I expect it will be a bit chaotic on the day, if last year is anything to go by. I plan to follow Johns lead and give out 10 "tickets" for my group - to "try" and keep numbers down. If anyone wants to volunteer to be tail I can share a .gpx if that helps.

I have a couple of routes, including one that goes down to Salisbury and up to Imber that I have not ridden yet. It misses out much of the traditional Plain, which we can do on the way back.

I'd be up for that. Mike if you want to send a gpx route I don't mind being sweeper. email is studiomw at mac dot com

Can i join in please on a 650x challenge, will be in my wobbly box saturday night on the pub car park if anyone fancys a pint:thumb

All welcome, so long as you can ride without having to stop at the end of every lane - we have a few miles to do.

Dont think GSA's will cut it, but the HP2 boys and SE's should be OK. Just keep the gas on...

Be ready for the off at 9.15 sharp with full tanks of gas.

Mike 54 will be the tail end - he has gpx's - and it'll be the drop off system to keep things moving.

If all you want to do is hone round the Plain there may be better groups. I plan to head SW to the back of Salisbury and pick up some old droves towards Imber, then more traditional Plain stuff in the pm. Not done most of the mornings route before, hear its a bit snotty at first, if ruts aren't your cup of tea. Should be muddy as hell, f'sure.

It'll be a mix and match of this, only the initial loop round Salisbury and up is firm...

Bakerman

As you can see there's not much to cut out if we drag our heels on the mornings route - other than pick up some road work to make up time if we have to.

See you Sunday, ohh 778755 one 541 is the mobile.
