Called in there today for the first time with the biking mate, really nice down to earth bike people, plenty off coffee, tea and chat, even persuaded the mate to buy a GS and get rid of his GSXR1000. Everyone we met was more than helpful, very polite, and even though my bike is already booked in there for its next service, I will be purchasing a new Rallye 2 suit, plus Vario top box and fittings from them.
I would quite happily recommend them to anyone, they are a credit to the bike trade.

I found them good to deal with when I bought a S/H bike there a few years back, and I was impressed by their stock of clothing when I bought a jacket there a few weeks ago. Helpful and friendy people :thumb2

...until you walk in wearing shorts, flip flops and an old vest. I went to them looking for my GS, but after 15 mins or trying to get someone's attention, I walked out and went to Pidcocks and bought one instead.

Well thats a shame although it is a fine line between being a pushy salesman or ignoring the customer, me, I wouldnt wait for someone for 15 mins though if I was wanting to chat to them. Did you wear the same vest and flip flops at Pidcocks? Haha.

Nice people at Balderstons, certainly, but you will pay much more. In my experience, there seems to be no budging on new bike prices....go to NOG.

Hi guys, I am the mug thats tradin in the gsxr, aaargh.
I found them really good i must say, gave me a good price on trade in I reckon, well fair price but thats the name o the game. I had been looking for ages for a gs, most private ones are grossly overpriced and must say that there are a lot of mingers out there where people rely on the fact that its a gs so ignore the fact that its rustin to bits!
I have a full 12 month warranty, def no hpi, uk bike for i would reckon 200 more than private sale.
They really were quite good, so big up to them really, but will i regret losin the gsxr?

You're no mug Stevie. You've got rid of that GSXR, reliable, unbreakable bulletproof jap, and bought a GS...

Joking apart, I'm sure you'll love the GS and Balderstons will look after you. You won't regret trading the GSXR.
