The title says it all.

Took the bike in for a big service before the annual 3000mile trek round Europe, serviced to perfection, advised me rear brake pads were a bit low, and that the rear tyre probably wouldn't last! Replaced both for me, and may I also say they were cheaper than 3 other motorcycle shops on the rear tyre!!!! Needless to say I had a faultless 3000 mile trip, with the Gs not missing a beat.

After the service I had a problem with the ABS warning lamp staying on, not due to the service, but it happened after I got home. Took the bike in, un announced on the Saturday morning of the tail end, and although they were flat out busy the service guy :thumb(sorry, don't know your name) came out and informed me what the problem was, the right hand handguard was fouling the brake lever, simple!!! Did I feel a right knob or what. In the meantime the LUVLY:hug Michelle was making us a coffee, and the rest of the staff were chatting away to us, you really have to try them.

I also ordered a Rallye 2 twat suit from them, went home with the wrong size trousers(my fault), and was very limited on time as to going away etc. Yet again, they excelled on customer service, getting a new pair out to me within record time.

Awesome service, excellent staff, nice coffee, and luvly biscuits!!

Basically these guys (and very foxy young lady) are great, I have no problems in recommending them to anyone, and as I also run a garage, I hope that my staff portray the same image and courtesy to my customers.

Balderstones must have changed then. When I used to live near Peterborough I drove past them to Wolastons, Northampton to buy our two new bikes.

They must finally be listening to criticism, arrogant twats they were when I tried to buy a GS. Ended up 60 miles away in Long Eaton to get one instead. Pidcocks always deserve a mention, another service coming up next Saturday so lets hope the service is still as good !!

Same here, I live in Peterborough & found them very un-helpful when it comes to selling me a new bike. Absolutley NOT interested in doing a deal, so went up the road to Wollastons & immediatley got exactly the same spec new GS for £1100 less!!!
As to the service department though, I think its Steve in the workshop -could not be more helpful & the same for the attractive lady in the clothing department.
Trouble is its the Sales department that very often give a potential customer their first impression & Balderstons are lacking in that area.

Very BIG :thumb:thumb:thumb for Wollastons.

I found them to be the same as Dave56 has. So I bought my GS from NOG.
They're a bit further away but make no difference to me as they delivered it to my home (with a full tank of fuel) and have collected and returned my bike when in for work.

NOG:thumb2

My 2 penn'worth.
Visited Baldertons a couple of months ago to test ride the F650 and F800s back to back.Found them welcoming and helpful with no pressure.
Depending on any deal offered,i wouldn't have a problem buying there.
Know what you mean about the clothes lady.:loveheart

Balderston's

Well, I found the Sales guys :bow just fine, helpful, courteous and polite, can even make a mean cup of coffe. I would suggest anyone thats had a bad experience to give them another go, as the mate bought a bike from them and was more than happy, and also had a couple of probs with the bike which were rectified very efficiently.

If nothing else, just go in there to blag a coffee and have a chat with previously mentioned foxy young lady!!!!!!!!:hug

I would quite happily recommend them to anyone, for anything to do with BMW, having bout my twat suit there, had the bike serviced etc and also purchased one there.
