Hi fella,

You are welcome to pop in and say hello over the weekend. If you want to come to the party on Saturday evening that is fine. Find me or Mark and we will sort something, and a donation to the air ambulance would be appreciated. The bookings are closed for the buffet as we have had to give the numbers to the caterers, so it would not be right charging you the £6 others are paying for their tickets.

Currently there should be over 100 people there on the Saturday night.

Always nice to see people, but if anyone else is thinking of dropping in please check with me on here or by pm so I can keep an eye on numbers. :thumb

No worries, as i said i might be able to pop in but was aware it was a booking only event so rather than just rock up to give argee some grief thought it better to ask first :)

will see how work goes

I was hoping to make the weekend, but some work ( read £££'s) has got in the way .
So, might just shoot over for Sunday am - say hello, grab a breakfast somewhere, check out the Sunday Market etc.
Hope the weekend goes well - cheers all -
Roger

Hi Roger,

It would be great to see you on the Sunday morning. Should be a fair few fragile folks nursing hangovers. :augie

Regards,

Matt

Is it too late to come?

Been to it for the last 2-3 years, great event, didn't book this year as I thought I was busy elsewhere:blast

I now find that I have an unexpected free weekend

As last years organiser, I can give you a quick answer, Its not to late to attend :thumb:D, contact this years organiser GS Jockey on here (see post #19)
You will need to self cater because booking for the caterers is closed (They need to know numbers a week before the event) but there are plenty of outlets for food within walking distance, plus if someone unexpectedly don’t turn up you may be able to blag their meals at cost, there’s usually enough for a few extra breakfasts, sent you a pm

Hi JB,

As Mark said, you are very welcome to come along and it would be great to see you again. You may need to self-cater as the meals are all pre-booked. There may be some scope for meals if we have a cancellation or no-show, but no guarantees. Plenty of  to keep you going, though.

Just find me or Mark Weavers (GSJockey) when you arrive and we can remove a few of your hard-earned pounds. :augie

Regards,

Matt

Latest weekend forecast is improving. Maybe not :Motomartin but less rain.

Let the :camping and :hogroast begin :)

Sorry Matt, cannot now make it......................now needed at home, following some bad news...................however I'll still manage at rideout in Yorkshire

Have fun and maybe I'll get to the event in 2012

Sorry guys, got an emergency  there is a leak somewhere in the airing cupboard so am waiting for a plumber to see what is occurring.:(

Now I have committed to being there for the buffet and will gladly forward a cheque to cover the costs as I don't want anyone to be out of pocket so that means there's a couple of 'free' places at the buffet tonight if anyone wants them.

I don't know who or where to send the cheque to but if the organiser sends me a pm I'll do the necessary.

I hope you all have a good time this weekend. I'm just sorry I can't join you.

Phil
