Bank Hoilday Monday - 30th May Green lane offroad rideout

You'll be fine, the trails are dry and you can always go around by road, if you're unsure....................emphasis will be on novices and catering for their lack of ability:D

right count me in then :thumb2

JB - if it's ok, I'll join you please. Kev

DA1ES - are you based in HX area? If so, and you're on for travelling in from there, I'm in the same area and we could join up for the ride across.:thumb2

Kev yes i am , pm me and we can sort something out.

Dale

No worries Kev, we are going on some trails:blast:eek:

Trial !! - wot? A court case on a Bank Holiday. No problem with that. I'll quite happily offer my expertise to the prosecution! See you in Chambers.

Very tempted JB! likely as not will see you in Thirsk then, sat in Cyprus airport waiting for return flight to Blighty, back to work Tuesday so a bimble out tomorrow might be fun... will try to bring the weather with me! :)

Despite getting a speedo cable yesterday, I am a "not so sure" now JB :(
I've been diagnosed this morning with a possible stress fracture in my left foot (wondered why it was hurting for the past 4 weeks!). Been told to rest it.
If the pain isn't too bad in the morning & the weather looks ok, I'll see you at Thirsk.
Else have a great time :)

Sorry JB beaten by the rain
Decided to set off nice and early into a light drizzle, this very soon turned into heavy rain, stuck at it for a good hour before turning for home a defeated man.
I did actually put my goretex liners on but then took them out as again as in my wisdom i thought i may get too hot!!!!!!! Not my best decision!!!
Anyway hope you got a ride and sorry to miss it.
Paul

Hi John,
Sorry to have missed this,I would have loved to have given the XCountry a
run out.
Unfortunately I had to go into work last night as an emergency had cropped up (I'm supposed to be retired and working 15hrs per week, but still seem to be the first port of call when the proverbial hits the fan)
I would really appreciate it if you could PM me next time you put a run on for begginers.
I'm usually also OK for mid week these days given a day or two's notice.

Steve

Another one of thanks JB for sorting this day out. Had great fun, only sorry I had to leave early due to work commitments getting in the way. Shame about the weather, had tried to bring the sunshine with me but it was seized at Customs! :blast

Thanks again! :)

can anyone remind me where the log cabin is where we stopped for a brew .Thanks

Fritz caught posing for Bev at John Bunting Chapel

Well, that was an interesting wood carving of mother and baby we found at the John Bunting Chapel (see photo above).

Probably even more interesting, was when we caught Fritz posing for Bev in similar fashion for a photoshoot around the back of the Chapel. See what you reckon!!
