Hi guys - looking for recommendations for bar backs/risers. Currently looking at Voigt or MV-Motorrad. MV are about €25 more expensive but appear to be better machined. If anyone has 1st hand experience and can comment that would be great

I have a set of 30mm high/21mm back Voigt risers with a Voigt clutch hose adapter fitted to my R1250R Sport.
They are very well made, look like they belong on the bike and are very easy to fit.
Got them from sportourgingltd via ebay.

Hi. Not sure what year your GS is, but I have used / liked MV bar risers / backs on both my 2004 GS (Mk1) and 2008 GS (Mk2), the latter of which has a thicker handlebar and thus requires different risers. Mine were about £115 and the only quality ones I could find which both rise and bring the bars towards me. I also rotated the handlebars towards me as much as possible without the brake fluid res being at an angle. No probs with cables on the 2008.

Sometimes you will get a pair on Ebay or the likes, ive had them a while. You can get adapter inserts to make a few variations fit as the ones for GS are expensive sometimes but others will work with the spacers.
