Just removed these (new bike) to afix the TT spoilers I bought recently.
The left hand side one (clutch side) was really tight. I know they use locktight stuff on'em but it was a real sod to get out and I had the correct size torque bit, Tx 56 I think.
Anyway the same one was really getting back in. So much so that I stopped because I'm sure I would have snapped something.
I swopped them over and the left hand bolt went into the right hand bar end easily enough.
Now the bolts were two different lenghts, the left-hand one being about 1" longer?? So, the shorter right hand one went into the left bar-end ok, just tighting on the last couple of turns.
Everything seems secure and ok.
Has anyone else noticed this..ie the different lenghts of bar end bolts and why?
Might have a word with the dealer when I take it in for its 600 service.
