Bar ends

Minor issue however what size of torx to tighten bar ends on my 12?

I don't know about the 1200. However, it's T55 for the F800GS, and I would hazard a guess that the 1200 could well be the same...

A quick look at http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do suggests it's the same size bolt (M12) on the R1200GS as the F800GS.

So I'd say T55.

An 8mm Allen key fits just fine.
