So I’m in Barcelona at the moment. Me & bro in law were at the circuit today for qualifying & the sprint race.
I just wanted to thank who ever it was (I can’t remember cos it was a while back) who advised me to book tickets for the ‘principal’ grandstand. The reason being that it was under cover & in the shade. It was 29 degrees today & if we’d have been anywhere else around the track, particularly around the east side I would have frazzled & simply couldn’t have stayed out there. As it was, although very warm we had a grand day watching the great Marquez/Ducati parade (boring) win again. I only hope that Fabio gives them both a proper race tomorrow.

That's brought back memories of Estoril years ago; we bought granstand tickets for the same reason; come race day boy were we glad we had;; it fuckin pissed down all day i was suprised the race even went ahead; when we eventually got back to our campsite ; that was also flooded out; qualifying day Saturday was stinking red hot;; race day was like monsoon season or summat. :D hope it's not the same for you tomorrow :beerjug:

It’s gonna be scrochio tomorrow although a bit of the wet stuff makes for good entertainment but as long as I’m in the shade it’s all good. It just shows learning from others really works. Great forum…
