Are these any good? The reason I ask is I am about to replace the ones on my 1150 Adv - thanks to a car driver who wanted to park where I was parked....quite a saving over the BMW ones. I could use the difference to fund some extra lights from Les!

I have SW Motech bars on my 07 GS, well pleased.
If you have a branch of Hein Gericke close by give them a try, I got mine for £107, picked them up from the Peterborough branch so no postage costs.

doddle to fit.

Very well made.

I managed to drop mine with 2 motocross wheels strapped ontop of the topbox so when it went over, it went over hard. Not a scratch!

cant be worse than me!! took some careful working out, and was a biut fiddly, but found loose fitting all bolts worked best then tightend a bit at a time

Great design and they offer good protection, but the bolts will rust and seize in the mounts.

Mine were impossible to remove and cost a fortune to be "cut" from the bike just so it could be serviced.

Trust me - remove them every few months and copper slip everything.

Don't give your bike to the dealer for service without checking they can be removed first!!
