Is anyone else finding Basecamp slow and frustrating since updating to 4.8.11.
Finding it a real bastard to drag shaping points around.
For reference still running Catalina, is it better with Big Sur? I notice people have had problems using it with Big Sur.

I’ve noticed that it’s very temperamental about rubber-banding route sections. More than half the time, it ignores that I’ve got the option key pressed, and starts dragging the entire map. I don’t recall it being as pernickety before the upgrade. I’m using Big Sur.

It's a dog, at the moment. I'm still running Mojave, for reference. Performance is awful especially around the rubber banding. I was even thinking of creating my track in Viewranger, since that snaps to paths and byways too. In the end I created routes for the road sections, converted them to tracks and then joined the tracks and added the missing bits for the byways.

Big Sur = Lot's of patience. I Fear OS is becoming as cumbersome as Windows. I did a re-boot today and it took ages to fully restart.
