Bash Plate Hanging

Was washing the bike when I noticed that I had a free-floating bash plate :mad:

It was only left fixed by the to forward bolts - the 2 rubber bushes at the back have sheared

As I have not bashed the plate it must be a vibration thing - so it might be worth keeping an eye on yours - see pics

u may find that when tighening the plate someone had also twisted the rubber, causing it to fail after a while...

You could be right - the last pic shows the bolts still screwed into the rubber bushes - strange way of fixing stuff though :confused: - tight enough so they dont come loose but not tight enough to stress the rubber :nenau

Your's is just like mine, don't worry. Its a really rubbish way to fix it to the bike, I've had loads replaced.
