Bash Plate

If you ever own a KTM you will be looking back fondly to the times that the BMW only had that fault while your KTM is back in the garage melting into a pool of metal, smoldering in a service center somewhere or otherwise draining money in a peculiarly orange way.

I've had three emails saying they're interested if nobody else wants it. I've emailed all three saying the first to say they will come and collect it will get it. I can't be fairer than that.

Got the email thanks, just replied.

Just had my email from Stephan; the bash plate, crankcase protector and wheel spacers will be here next week! I'll get some pics up when they are.

Just had a box arrive from Germany! The bash plate, crank case protector and wheel spacers have arrived. They look real quality stuff and I'm chuffed to bits with it. I'll get em fitted at the weekend and get some pics up!

Top man Stephan :clap

Bash plate with side protection (shift and brake lever) and covered side compartments

I'm hoping someone with better memory than I can point me in the right direction.

I saw a photo of a bashplate (I think for X-challenge) that had extra width on both sides, in front of the shift and brake levers, that offered them better protection and also provided small covered compartments where one could carry other kit such as tools or small oil bottle. I'm pretty sure I saw the photo on this site, but for the life of me, I can't find it now.

Can anyone point me to the post, or the company or individual who made such a bash plate.

Thanks,
Doug

Touratech make a rally bashplate with a tool compartment as does Stephan. I would go with Stephan's. I'm pretty sure it is both cheaper and better.
