Hi folks...any comments ideas ???..please..

I have a Samsung 'wave' phone, with bluetooth..

I want to ...

speak to pillion, or other 'close ' rider ...range ??

MAYBE GET phone calls, or pref. ignore them....
WHICH headset ??..Shoei Multitec..
connect to I-Pod, or similar.

use a simple SatNav..waterproof m/c set, or bog-standard in a 'bag'???????

DONT' WANT.......

complexity
excessive expense
to really bother about phone calls..can always catch up later..
a radio.....

Many thanks,

Scott.

Sounds like, for a simple solution, you need a Zumo and a decent Bluetooth headset. The Zumo will do music via it's built in MP3 player and and act as a hub for the phone as well as provide the obvious navigation functions.

A decent Bluetooth headset should give you rider to passenger capability as well as limited range bike to bike. I'll leave others to advise on the headset aspect as I'm a hard-wired Luddite* and know not a lot about that

* I have all the functionality you're looking for but it's a fairly complicated Autocom set-up (lots of wires and plug-in extras) paired with sat nav, phone, MP3 player and PMR radio, all hard-wired apart from Bluetooth for the phone.

Neither option is going to be cheap to implement, though most of my kit came off eBay but that took a while.
