Yes on the high peaks but roads are all clear. No signs of winter on the roads but it is a little chilly in the mornings and there are plenty of leaves and horse chestnuts dropping.

I have the same BMW racks and also side cases but tbh I wouldn’t want to tour with them- no locks and a bit flimsy. Are there any other side cases that fit those racks, do you know?

I have toured around the Pyrenees and through France and they are fine.

I have the fitted cross brace fitted and they are the later updated panniers with the revised locks.

Thanks for that, mine don’t have locks, I think they are original to the bike.
What’s the cross brace?

Braces the pannier rails so they do no bend when carrying heavier loaded cases….
