Basingstoke, A good mechanic nearby for a 100gs?

Sad to say that Barry Barber who used to run BEMS down at Drayton had to cease trading last year. Excellent mechanic and went out of his way to be helpful.

I am now in the situation of having to find another chap to do the occasional big service on my GSPD.....does anyone spring to mind in this area?

I've used Just Motorcycles as well, good guy (and a very friendly if somewhat large dog). I've also used Steptoe as well (no dog, but he's got a shed) and his reputation is well deserverd.
Just don't, what ever you do, go to the motorcycle place near Sainsburys / Beggarwood (whose name I will not mention beacuse I really don't like them).

I don't even walk around and look at their bikes when I'm bored any more. I really don't like the place either....which is shame because it's only 0.5 miles from my house.

Just Motorcycles are good guys.

The other place, by Beggarwood is run by complete Tossers. How they stay in business amazes me. Utter twats, and that's being kind!

Yeah, I've got the same problem with them. I can't tell how they stay in business too because no one I talk to likes them and I never see much going in there.
