BASKERVILLE HALL/ WALES WEEKEND

Ditto ditto ditto
Had a great time - good to meet you all. Particularly enjoyed the "tea-cakes-fish&chips-cake-tea-BBQ-oh and a bit of riding" alternative option on Saturday.
Hope you accept associate members on other bikes as I'm not sure there is an R80ST club for when I start riding again?

Pictures of the weekend available at www.chasingthesun.org

See you soon
Lisa

Better get Lisa to join, Simon - so she can participate in full.
Didn't realise you were a Policewoman - hope you didn't pay too much attention to my number plate - when you could see it !!!!!!!!!
No wonder you rode like a pro - Lisa , you've probably done the 3 week fast pursuit bike course!!!!!!!!

Thanks for a great weekend

Just wanted to say thank you to Jerry for all his hard work in organising the weekend and to everyone else who helped out.

We arrived in the dark, hungry and tired and left refreshed with big grins plastered ear to ear. :D

Some great roads and better company. Much appreciated.

Looking forward to Princetown.

thanks again.
Cheers

Baskerville Hall weekend

A big thank you from the two of us to all those that helped to organise the event. As GS virgins ( ours was new in April and we took her to Italy in July !) we weren't sure what to expect. We only came for the Saturday but we enjoyed Gerry's ramble round Wales. We'll be back for more !
As we travel from the edge of B'ham/M42 corridor, We'll keep our eyes peeled for some Peak District ( non A6 speed traps !) or Cotswold/ Long Mynd ride outs in the future.

COTSWOLD RIDE COULD BE PLANNED IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST. DROP ME A LINE AND I SHALL SEE HOW MANY WILL BE INTERESTED.

Well that was fun :)

Certainly was...............13 years has flown by

I thought we had a 'cross-dresser' when we checked into our bunkroom dormitory

We knew you'd be behind the makeup and chiffon nightie, laid out in the boy's dorm:P

I remember it well...

Including watching you lofting the front of your 1150 of every rise in the road - 13 years later I still cannot do it

I think I was there as well, sharing a bunkhouse room with Simon and Lisa Thomas who were preparing for their round the world adventures. Didn't we do a ride out around Lynn Brianne that weekend?

Ha ha yes, didn't you get an eye full as she climbed into a top bunk :D

Probably & someone else said her towel slipped a bit when she came out of the shower, one evening

Still, it was a good weekend of riding - in the early days of GS meets, via the internet

What year ...

... was it when the lazy bastard couldn't be bothered to cut the grass in the camping field; must be quite a while ago because most folks were actually on bikes :rob

i remember that. the grass was about a foot long!

Was this the UKGSER event where we admired each other's vinyl wrapping and worried about which mode to use on the ride out or was that a later one....
