just returned from a trip down france, across to barcelona then up to pyranees and round the picos de europa, ace time BUt for one thing. Whilst parked up in northern spain some lowlife cut all the plastic cable ties and stole the bmw badges from tank and seat.
I reckon it was a basque (is this spelt rite) terrorist doing his bit against tourists.
Anyroadup, thinking about this, it could have been much more serious, he/she/it could have cut the tubes and wires to the injectors just as easily. Does any manufacturer make covers for thes tubes and cables, if not I will make some myself for my next trip.
l will write the trip up later and post it cos I found some wonderful places to stay and met some great people.

That's weird...we had the same problem in May. Midway up Spain. Someone cut all the cable ties holding a home made luggage rack together on the KTM that was in our party, outside a motorway hotel.

Maybe it's the new craze...or just one crazy Spaniard with a thing for zip ties?...
