Bast*rd Fuel gauge let me down again !!

My last bike had a 22 litre tank fuel gauge and low level light. The gauge worked but was already reading zero by the time the light came on. I then had just over 4 litres remaining or 40 miles if I thrashed it. TBH the gauge was a waste of space, but the warning light well worth having. I always used the trip which being mechanical was easy to use and always visible.

My 1200 annoyingly resets the miles display to overall miles so the trip all too easily gets forgotten. Maybe the main dealer can reset the mileage display priority. But its a GSA so I really should get a farkle spare fuel can for the wasted space behind the RHS pannier case frame. ;)
