Battery advice anyone ?

I need to replace the battery on my 09 GS and seem to remember someone on hear selling some a little while ago, or can anyone suggest somewhere ?? preferably on the net as I will need it delivered.

I use my local motor electrical place and get a Varta for about £45 I've had one in for nearly 2 years, the bike lives outside, no optimate and it's never let me down

had teh same on my 1100.

Don't pay for a name is what I say.

just out of interest, does a rt1200 battery fit a gs? the rt battery has greater capacity so might turn over the gs a bit quicker.

which is the best battery ?? I have looked at motoworks website , can you only buy a genuine BMW from the dealer ?? if you do not fit a genuine one does this affect your BMW bike warranty ??

Just had to get one here in Australia for my '09 GSA.

BMW genuine one (with trade discount - apparently) was AUD$280 = GBP190.

for AUD$123 = GBP 83.

They will even post it 2000Km to me for $10!

See if you can find an HVT8 battery over there. Same as an EXT 14 BS/ YTX 14 BS.
