Wake up this am and see blue skies & the temp above 5* so prepare all my gear and wheel the bike out of the garage. Almost trembling with excitement (and not the recent freezing fog) I hit the button to be met with a weak groaning noise and no life whatsoever from the motor. Not having touched the bike for 5weeks and leaving it with the BWM alarm on obviously has run it flat (cue a chorus of " I told you so's") i rushed down to my dealer (on reserve 2 wheels, Piaggio) and find him more than happy to sell me a BMW charger for 103 Euro (discounted!). Having connected it all up,after 3hrs, it's still showing only the first red led lit - my q. is - how long do i have to wait to have a recharge or is it all up for the battery and my chances of getting a decent run before the fog comes back.
