Much to think about. I would like to run a lead to the top box so I can charge stuff and power the phone for music. Like i have on the ta. Just have to get a surface mount connector for the top box and make up a lead between the 2.
I assume the ignition switched outlet is via a relay, where did you take the "ignition switched" from?
trigger for the relay is from one of the wires going to the diagnostic socket - I could go and look and tell you which wire, or search around on here - that's how I worked it out. i used a fancy connector the name of which escapes me at the mo, (Pozitap???) but is dead simple and just puts a pin prick in the insulation. This comes as part of an Eastern Beaver 3-way accessory fuse block for the switched circuits. Its all rammed in under the frame brace / top of the rear shocker. http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Wiring_Kits/Fuseboxes/3_Circuit/3_circuit.html Excellent quality stuff.
