Battery replacement advice wanted for 1200

I need to replace my oem battery 18 months old, can anyone suggest a replacement? Also anyone have any problems with the bike de-charging a battery-battery drain....

Got up to a bike that would not start....charged it, then rode it for two days no prob...then dead again?
