So the battery is out - It's the original so its 7 years old ( not the eight I initially said!)

The cells are between 1/2 and 3/5 empty  - I assume that these will now be bolloxed ... or would a little battery acid or distilled water spark it into life again ??

Don`t be such a fecking mingebag....buy a new one. :rob

While it may come back to life if you top it up the plates are sure to be damaged and it won`t be long before you`re back to square one again.

Just get yer `ands in yer pockets FFS.

Saved a few pence on the water :)

Need to buy a new battery now :(

Putting water in might get it alive for a short while, but if it doesn't you've wasted your time.

It's toast - buy a new one (and as it' a right pain in the arris to keep them topped up, get a maintenance free one).

Try SK Motoparts near Schlatt/Paradies (close to Schaffhausen)

Give Michael a call, he has always helped me out with bits I need and will not try to sell you the most expensive item in stock if he thinks it's not the best. They are not so great on email, so best to give them a call. If your Deutch is a bit rusty, most of the guys have 'good' English.
