Battery voltage critical Accident risk stop Driving !

Got the Battery voltage critical, Accident risk stop driving sign come up on my tft screen after starting up first time this morning Gs 1250 22 model so I pressed the stop button and the starting motor kept spinning even with the ignition off flattening the battery , anyone as to a guess what the problem could be ?
Bike picked up this evening by bmw assist and being taken to Arden BMW tomorrow thanks in advance.

,,,,,....... i found these on the floor , are they yours ? yes , the battery voltage is critically low . caused be the starter motor being stuck on , by a faulty relay perhaps ?

I've never heard of this before but it sounds very concerning. I'm curious as to what is discovered so I shall monitor this thread with interest.

I somehow find that funny. One person amongst the thousands of GS owners has a possible relay or starter faulty and you find that very concerning. More chance of winning the lottery than the same thing happening to you.
