Got one 2 weeks ago and fitted my 1150GS (2002) fine. It is slightly taller than the orig B*W battery.

Hmmm, checked on ebay and the kung long seems to be 181x76x167,
Have measured mine and it's 150x85x145, anyone fitted one to an 1200 ADV.

Bummer, the kung long does not fit the adv, it's just too wide.
anyone need a new battery.

i think you 2 are talking about 2 different adventures, 1150 & 1200 have different batteries

Dear Les,

Thanks for your interest in our products. We think the battery you are using now
is coded 51913.

The equivalent battery type in our program is WP20-12U, which is sold quite
well among our European distributors to replace the originally equipped 51913.
However, ours is a "lead-acid" version instead of the Gel one you prefer. Will
this cause any inconvenience? Below you can the spec. sheet of our WP20-12U
for technical preview. Let us know if you still have any other question.

There's 1 more critical concern about your inquiry as our distributors in UK do
not carry WP20-12U in their programs. I just found 1 who will have a shipment
from us in late January. If you are able to wait till late Feb. ( normally it takes
30 days to ship from Taiwan to UK), you can contact this distributor and ask
whether if they can import some pcs for you. They are located in Marlow Bucks
and we'll advise their contact information after we get their reply.

Can anyone tell me if the Kung Long battery size 181x76x167 will fit an 1150 GS. I know that it won't fit an 1150 adv. Is there any difference ?

Not to sure about that Daz, best way is pull the seat of and see if you can measure it

Hi Les, pulling the seat off isn't the problem mate. It's taking the tank off and disconecting the fuel lines. Time is very much against me.
