I don’t very often stay in chain type hotels in France. However, on a recent trip, which required about 15 separate rooms, the organiser (understandably) booked us into the Campanile.
For a two night stay, it was fine. A decent sized car park (we were all in cars) with easy walking access to the town. Naturally enough, Bayeux is reasonably well placed for the main Normandy sites, too.
