Hi all,

Has anyone managed to watch BBC iPlayer content from overseas? A few posts on the net seem to suggest its possible but has anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks
Garry

No mate - unless you have a UK IP address it doesn't allow you to see the content for 'licencing' reasons. Same with other UK broadcasters. It's a similar problem with BBC radio over the internet - it will only run through a 'REAL' player . Normal windows media palyer won't work so if you were tempted to invest in an internet radio to listen to the BBC be careful and make sure it is 'REAL' enabled. Many aren't.

Despite living in Yorkshire BBC I player wont let me on as the AOL server is somewhere foreign, But it works ok if i launch AOL via Internet explorer.
