I'm not too sure what's going on and I wouldn't want to badmouth a supplier without good cause but...

Over the last couple of days I've tried to get a new set of Anakee III for my WC, local dealers seem to be having issues with supply, but they suggested ordering online and they will fit.

I placed an order with TyreLeader yesterday, waited an hour and got no response, also their online system didn't update. As I assumed there was an issue with the first order I tried to raise another one... both times the process seems to complete ok, but neither time resulted in a confirmation email or their internal systems updating.

I've tried calling them, there is a number if you search on the parent company, but it doesn't seem to be working...

The long and short is I currently have two orders with them that they haven't confirmed, but they've reserved the money for.

I'm going to look to cancel the credit card transaction and/or order as soon as I can as I've been able to order via Oponeo and they seem to be processing everything within a few hours.

Just thought I'd give you all a heads up as it seems the rear tyres for the WC are still pretty hard to come by

I have a 'Professional' account with Tyre leader :blast

I put in an order on Saturday (my first order with them) and had email confirmation within 2 minutes of placing the order. I've heard mixed reviews about their despatch time on other forums but all have said that the tyres did actually arrive, just sometimes after several days.

I'm happy to wait a week or so for my tyres as Tyre leader are cheaper that I can buy them for elsewhere at TRADE money. I guess you get what you pay for!

Cool, it might just be delays at their end then. I've ordered from them before without issue, I was just surprised that none of the backend systems seemed to be working.

still I might have a nice little stockpile of rear tyres soon :blast

Ordered a set of Tourance Nexts off them in January - no problem and arrived in about a week.

Hope there is not a problem as they have some good pricing.

Just ordered a new rear roadsmart for the gs from tyreleader tonight.
Had a confirmation email in minutes.
Hope ya get sorted mate.x

I bought a set of Anakees a couple of weeks ago 1 arrived with a couple of days a week later no sign of the other so sent them a message they replied within a hour and the tyre turned up a couple of days later so all was working fine a couple of weeks ago

You need to fill out a contact form on their web site: http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/contact

"Customers can only contact us via the contact form for commercial questions and via the ticket portal for the support service." (From: http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/terms-and-conditions)

Forget about trying to phone them; that's not how they operate.

if you look in the Ts&Cs there is a parent company listed and there is a phone number listed on that website but.... It doesn't seem to be working :(

No worries, I've ordered from Oponeo, they are cheaper but show a slightly longer shipping time... the good news is their system seems to be working properly :)

That as may be but it doesn't change this:

I give up !

I ordered a pair of PR4s from them on 18 Apr, as their price was the best I could find. Both were showing in stock and I got an immediate email confirmation, although front and rear were on separate order numbers. I got a text from DPD on 21 Apr to say the order would be delivered that day, so took the wheels out ready for fitting. A couple of hours later, I got another text from DPD to say they hadn't received the package.

A link in an email the next day from tyreleader showed the package was still in Germany. When it arrived today, 23 Apr, there was a front tyre only. I contacted tyreleader via their web form, asking where the rear was, and received a quick reply to say they would chase it up. I've heard nothing since.

Full marks for pricing but the jury's out on service so far. I might give Wheelhouse Tyres a try next time.

Well ....

The tyres I ordered on the 18th April arrived today, both of them, together, via Parcelforce. Given the ridiculously low price I certainly can't complain about the 5 working day lead time.
It is a little odd that people's experiences differ so much :nenau

Keep the faith you guys, I'm sure your tyres will arrive, sadly just not as quickly as hoped.

I do too normally, but the TKC 70s I had fitted to my GSA yesterday at Micheldever are scaring me witless. Yes the old Annakee 3s were somewhat squared off, but the bike now practicaly falls over at every corner!

Edited to add I'm not yet a fan of the light-feeling and less planted front end. I want to like them but the Jury is still out after a couple of hundred miles.

You're not alone fella, I posted up a thread on the KTM forum about TKC 70s and many people reported similar problems, a couple people on a similar thread on ABR aren't entirely happy either .... Here are the links, have a read ..
