Be honest - could it be more than just a `concept`?

It looks hideous and a monstrosity...seriously.

The proper way to do it cheaply and repeatable is to knock up a wooden buck and make vacuum mouldings using 4 mm abs sheet, drilled and trimmed to suit.

It was the best I could do....seriously.

Sounds a fantastic idea about the abs though - really does - I`ll leave that to better people/craftsmen than me!

Thank you and as always kind words - it's the positive contributions which make me happy to at least attempt stuff. A fella with a Sertao has said that the TT stuff he's got is falling to bits and can I help him replace it with sturdier gear - this will be my next project to see if I can help him - he has the right 'biker' attitude so I will do my best and it should keep me busy.

Anyway mate - you can't be back from your travels so soon?

I agree about the Touratech gear....I've bought a few things of theirs over the years, and I've been so disappointed with them I've not even put them on my bike! Your items are far superior :thumb2

Not my cup of tea but I really appreciate the effort of someone actually trying to manufacture a rear hugger. As said above as well, I too prefer a plastic moulded part.
