I fitted one, then regretted it and filled the holes/resprayed it. They look like excess lip filler on an otherwise lovely young lady, IMO, and serve no purpose in real-world use.
I’ve always wondered what they do. Do they channel more air into the oil cooler than a standard 1150 beak? Do they keep more rain / spray off? Are they purely cosmetic?

Mine is already quicker than all the others because there’s absolutely no dirt or rust on it weighing it down. Plus it’s the faster graphitan colour.
I’ve just spent two whole days cleaning and finalising the farkles. Just the spotlights to change now but that’s a job for next winter. It’s 95% done now.
Oh, and get a stiffer spring on the Ohlins rear shock. It’s a tad bouncy when kitted out with all my camping stuff.
