Beaks?

I have an 04 R1200GS and I'm looking for a beak extender/trim I've seen some advertised for 04-06, some advertised as 07-12 and some advertised as 04-12. Are the 04-06 beaks the same as the beaks up to 2012?

I have one hung on my wall that I got for My 04 bike I think it was for an 06 on bike It did not fit

I got a second one that did supposedly from an 05 bike

I am 90% sure there was a change in 06 (from September 2005 when they used to start building the next years bikes ) with what they used to call "MU" (Model Update) on the microfiche
and I am again fairly sure it was 2010 for the "TU" or technical Update but I haven't been working at them full time for quite some time
