I’ve just put an add in the ‘Wanted’ section for some Beancan ignition module parts.

Hi,

Appreciate this is an longshot, but has anybody out there got any airhead beancan ignition module parts they don’t need anymore ? (or a broken / damaged unit)

I have a beancan with a few parts missing..

Trying to rebuild this unit..





You can see there are a few parts missing.

Hoping someone may have a broken or damaged unit and I can make 1 good one.

Will take anything spare - no matter how small.

I may be able to help - as long as you're not in a rush....
I've got some beancan bits but not currently available as they're stashed in foreign shed with no means of access.

A quick update on the hunt for bean can parts.

The hunt is still on !

I bought some spares from another member and got to this point..



I now have 3 bean cans !

All completely disassembled and rebuilt as far as I can get.

Cleaned inside and out. Freshly lubricated with a drop of sewing machine oil, new advance weight springs and all external fasteners replaced with stainless.

The bean can on the right is complete and works. Result

The other 2 still have defective hall sensors and some missing parts.

I’m looking for 1 of these..



And 2 caps / covers..



Interested in anything that anyone is willing to part with.

I do have some duplicate spares if anyone is doing something similar.
