has anyone used the electronic beancan from motorworks . the bobweights have gone on mine and its died ( amazing what sea water can do to metal ) .
this is cheaper than a standard one , but is it false economy , are they worth avin .
any thoughts lads .
cheers .

The last I heard was they hadn't been available for some time. You could fit a Boyer micro digital ignition inside you old bean can. Just buy the 79/80 ignition from motorworks or motobins. Will cost just over £100

b/can

sorry , should have explained better .
this is off a 95 pd . had it looked at and the hall effect trigger is ok , it's the bob weights that are goosed . the bike was recovered from the beach ( stolen and dumped ) before i bought it . the guy i got it from rebuilt it but can't have looked at the can . when i took it off , a load of rust and sh!!e came out of it .
it's the can with the electronic advance i was thinking of fitting . i think they come from america .:thumb2
