We have the good news that The Royal Oak, which is a 45 second stagger down from our house, has closed it's rather 'hit and miss' restaurant, and split itself into a pub and Indian restaurant, which opened last week.
So, we have the benefit of a handy local that serves a good pint, coupled with a rather good curry house and take-away. The menu includes the usual fare, but also has quite a good selection of chefs specials.
I'll put it forward that we have a curry night, either Friday 30th November or Saturday 1st December.
