at least on an airhead you can delete the remote preload to save a big wad of cash.

still a bit of a fag to adjust, but much easier to get at than on an oilhead.
 
I have a Wilbers WP and Ohlins on my bikes - all good but I would go for the Ohlins unless there is a huge saving on the others.

My Ohlins is the basic non remote model - perfect at Ohlins settings so I havent missed the function.

I got a wilbers eco-line (no remote adjuster) shock for my R80ST last year, and I'm very pleased with it - it comes set-up to your specific rider/pillion/luggage weight requirements. I got it from here:

was about £270 or so with custom (blue) spring colour and took a few weeks to make and ship.
