Before I buy the bars

Hi all,

After a little research on here... Am about to order some Motech bars from Nippy's... £129


I just wanted to make sure that

a) these are the puppies

b) is it possible to mount some running lights onto them ... i.e. is there enough room etc...

Can't really comment on the bars effectiveness.... After dropping my bike 3 times on the road (albeit one was gravel, and two were zero speed)... I fit a set and rode Morocco (level 1) offroad without testing them...

They seem to have enough room around them and are pretty solid though...

I've droped mine a couple of times, most notably in second gear whilst crossing a ford. It went down fast and fairly hard on the left. No problems just a bit of paint removed from the bars.

I have had a bit of trouble with the fit though. It might have been solved by now, but worth keeping an eye on. Link

I got my SW Motech Engine Bars from Motorcycle Road and Race last October for £107.84 Very fast delivery and good after sales when I discovered that one of the "bushes" had not been drilled right through. Replacement bush arrived within a couple of days. Superb Silver Finish matches or should I say "puts to shame" the BMW Frame paint. Fitting was easy.

Got mine from Nippy Normans and the fitting was straight forward. Not dropped the bike to find out what happens!
